GRAPHITE: Classic black-and-white pencil on white paper. Focuses on fine, traditional detail and soft transitions. BEST FOR: High-resolution photos with sharp focus on features, fur, or scales.

WHITE PENCIL/BLACK PAPER: Dramatic, high-contrast highlights on a dark background. A modern way to capture light. BEST FOR: photos with strong contrast or flash shots that do not suit watercolor or graphite.
