Welcome. This page outlines the guidelines for both my custom portrait commissions and items from my online shop.
For clients commissioning a custom pet portrait, the Customer Pet Portrait Agreement details the specific terms governing that service.
I. Custom Pet Portrait Commissions
These terms apply exclusively to custom-commissioned pet portraits.
- Booking & Process:
- The Form: After purchasing, I will send you a Pet Portrait Commission Form for you to upload your photo and give me more information about your pet/s.
- Next Step: Please, fill out the form within 5 business days to officially activate our agreement.
- Timelines: The project start date begins after I send the final confirmation email (following photo approval), not at the moment of payment.
- Cancellations & Refunds:
- Studio Reservation: Once sketching begins, 50% of your payment covers the time blocked out in my studio and is non-refundable.
- Review Window: If you decide not to proceed, I will refund 50% of your payment, and the artwork will remain in my studio collection.
- Inactive Projects: If we lose touch for 30 consecutive days, the project is considered closed and the deposit is retained.
II. Shop Purchases (Originals & Giclée Prints)
All sales of Giclée prints and non-commissioned original paintings are Final Sale.
III. Custom Pet Portraits and Shop Purchases

Authenticity: Every original painting, pet portrait commission, and limited-edition print comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Copyright: VARsee LLC owns the full copyright to all artwork, sketches, and finished pieces. You are purchasing the physical piece for personal use only and may not reproduce or sell copies. You are encouraged to post photos of your finished art on social media; please credit Silvana Varriale as the artist and tag VARsee Art.

Disputes: Any legal disputes will be handled in the small claims court of Pennsylvania. My total liability is limited to the price you paid for the item.
